The $86 million Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) project formally known as the MD 85 Buckeystown Pike/I-270 Interchange project requires LIUNA laborers working on this project in Frederick, Maryland to use their well-rounded skillset. Completion is projected for the spring of 2022.
Currently, 13 LIUNA laborers work on interchange reconstruction, which involves demolition, concrete structures, storm sewer, water and sanitary sewer, excavation, traffic control, concrete flatwork and asphalt pavement construction.
