  • Northeast Boundary Tunnel: As the latest and last development in the Clean Rivers Project, the Northeast Boundary Tunnel reached a milestone this week: getting a name. The name “Chris” honors the late Assistant Director for the Clean Rivers Project, Christopher Allen. Led by DC Water, the Clean Water Project’s mission is to keep DC’s waterways, the Potomac River, the Anacostia River, and Rock Creek, clean. LiUNA! members have been part of other projects in the program, but are expected to put 100 members to work on the Northeast Boundary Tunnel. Click here for the full story.
